Jana Braden, co-owner of Any Lab Test Now, just wanted to give others the peace of mind it took her so long to find. Fifteen years ago, Braden contracted Lyme disease, an inflammatory disease typically transmitted from the bite of a tick infected with Borrelia burgdorferi. “I would research the Internet and would say, ‘It sounds like I’ve got symptoms of Lyme disease,’ ” Braden said. “They would say, ‘You can’t get Lyme disease in Texas.'” Read more.
