Bellingham Woman Could Be First Olympic Freeskiing Medalist

Bellingham’s Angeli Vanlaanen has been hitting the slopes since she was a child. Skiing for her this year will be different because she is making a bid to represent the United States at the Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. The 27 year old could become one of the first women to compete at the Olympics in the sport of freeskiing, which is making its debut.
