LDUC_2014Within these groups across the United States and other countries, there are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and so forth. As Dr. Jemsek states, “sooner or later” your family will be affected by this growing disease and you, too, will be trying to make a difference.

The Lyme Disease United Coalition (LDUC) is an all-volunteer 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt Non-profit corporation.

The LDUC believes strongly in the quote: “Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And, whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.”

Its mission is to “advocate for patients who have a tick-borne illness resulting in Lyme disease (Ld), Babesia, Bartonella, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, or Ehrlichia.” They feel deeply for the Lyme Disease patient and feel that they are priority one. It is also their “purpose is to educate the public and physicians regarding the emergence of tick-borne illness throughout the world. “ The LDUC has affiliates in Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Washington.
