Mercury Detoxification Protocol, DMPS Injections or KPU?

Mercury Detoxification Protocol, DMPS Injections or KPU?

Unlike many others, I have been doing very well. Some people ask: Do I do anything? Am I still using treatment? And what did you do to get well?scream

The thing is. It is not like most of you want to think. You undergo the treatment by taking the prescribed antibiotics or herbal protocols, you’re cured! Then you’re done! Well, I can’t speak for everyone, only myself. It is an ongoing daily regimen to remain well. Am I on a strict diet? I wouldn’t call it that. Do I watch what I eat and don’t eat? Of course!

Am I still on antibiotic treatment? No. Do I still use herbals or naturals? Yes.

It is a routine, just like brushing your teeth, regular bathing, doing laundry, cleaning your house and paying your bills. It is part of your life routine, it’s important. Reminds me of a song by “Joey and Rory” called “That’s Important to Me” which I can actually relate to.

Regular checkups are a must for me. If something is a bit off, or I feel will hinder me to remain well, I take care of it. This has led me to explore options that many have never heard of or even considered. I actually was described as “daring” and “cutting edge.” (I had to chuckle) Daring, may be a wee bit when it comes to staying well; but not really, I just do what I feel is necessary to do. I do what is best for me and my health. Cutting edge, absolutely not! Some of these procedures that I have experienced within the last few months have been discovered by those that have looked into naturopathic remedies and the like for years.   If you call “cutting edge” controversial, maybe. But sometimes, you just need to try new things, do a lot of reading and base your decisions on what you’ve learned; both the good and the bad, then trust your gut when you choose what you want to do.

For instance, DMPS injections are too risky and dangerous. I had already undergone the KPU/HPU treatment, which helped with my metal toxicity. (I’d probably do this again instead of the DMPS injections. Live and Learn.) But once again, my mercury levels were rising that I had to do something. I heard that DMPS was a great chelation agent for mercury. However, I did hear that the injections were probably one of the last methods to follow. They were a bit scary but I learned that sometimes you just have to confront your fears. I felt horrible after the injections, major headaches, achiness, and a bit nauseous, tired, and not quite well. I usually had to go home and sleep it off instead of returning to work. After the first injection, I felt like this for about a week.

I underwent four injections and each time, I felt the same but the effects lasted less and less. By the time I got to the third one, I didn’t feel bad at all afterwards.   The ART testing showed that I probably would benefit from one more, so I thought, fine. On the fourth one, I felt alright during, but right after it was done I had a major reaction. The area of my arm turned blood red almost like it was bleeding but not…and major itching. Nothing a dose of Benadryl didn’t take care of but it was a bit frightening! Thank goodness my sweetie decided to ride along, I don’t even remember the ride home because I fell asleep rather quickly and didn’t wake until I arrived home.  (If I were to do it again, I’d follow a detoxification protocol such as the KPU suggested by Dr. Klinghardt that I had done before or what Dr. Mercola suggests.)

DoctorsOrdersAll I can say is that you have to do what is best for you. There are risks but there are triumphs as well. Don’t let someone talk you into something you are not comfortable with. Follow what your body is telling you, use your brain, ask your most trusted friends for their input and weigh your options, then, speak with your doctor to move forward of what you two think is best.

I am not a doctor and will never tell you that I know what’s best for you, only you can decide that for yourself. Hang in there! Push forward.

I wish you all the best in your journey to become well.
