Rep. Wilson Released Had Lyme Disease, Now In Hospital

Rep. Joe Wilson Hospitalized for Fever

Columbia, SC (WLTX) – A spokesperson for Rep. Joe Wilson says the lawmaker was admitted into a hospital for an extended fever. Wilson, a Lexington Republican, represents the Second Congressional District, which extends from Columbia to Hilton Head. Just last week it became public that Wilson was recovering from what appears to be Lyme Disease. Fever is one of the symptoms often seen with the illness. Read more.
