Dr. David A. Jernigan is a husband, father, author, researcher, and advocate of natural supplements and innovative treatment techniques. In the mid 1990’s, several family members were diagnosed with Lyme disease and co-infections, so the journey to naturally restore their health completely began (and they are all well now).
He writes to bless and help others as he is inspired and has time. He is presently writing another book and is further developing the Bio-Resonance Scanning™ training program for doctors which is hosted at the Hansa Center. Dr. Jernigan is also the developer of the diagnostic and treatment technique Bio-Resonance Scanning™ and a whole new concept in medicine called Circuit Healing™.
He has personally developed over 30 novel natural medicines to date; many are available online at www.hansacenter.com. He is one of the most experienced doctors in the U.S.A. in one of the latest FDA approved adjunctive diagnostic tests, Computerized Regulation Thermodiagnostics.
He also is the founder and owner of the Hansa Center for Optimum Health in Wichita, Kansas. As the Physician Director “he provides treatment and education that works with God’s natural design of the body, empowering the body to heal itself”. His belief is that “Health in a bottle’ is a myth – if you must continually take a pill, it is not correcting what is necessary for your body to heal. If you are sick, we are here to help.”
He graduated from Park University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition with honors. He went to Cleveland Chiropractic College to attain his doctorate. He traveled abroad to Germany and Switzerland to further his studies in natural and anthroposophical medicine, as well as Biological Medicine training from Dr. Rau of the Paracelsus Klinic. He received certification in Botanical Medicine at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado, and has intensely studied Chinese medicinals and homeopathy.
After years of receiving patients that were infected with Lyme disease and related infections he developed the “Perfect-7 Treatment and Detoxification Protocol” for those who wanted at ‘at home’ program or were preparing to come to the Hansa Center. Dr. Jernigan’s accomplishments also include books that help many in dealing with their continuing suffer of Lyme Disease and the other tick-borne diseases which include: Surviving Lyme Disease Using Alternative Medicine (1999, out of print), Beating Lyme Disease: Living the Good Life in Spite of Lyme (now in its 2nd Edition), and Everyday Miracles by God’s Design; as well as numerous articles in the Townsend Letter (http://www.townsendletter.com), and other publications.
The first research presented on Lyme disease was in March of 1999 at the 12th International Scientific Conference on Lyme Disease and other Tick-borne Disorders, New York City.
