What’s My “Magic Formula”?

nutramedix-logo1I have been asked numerous times what my “magic formula” on my recovery was. First of all, I have been told by several doctors that I have an incredibly strong immune system. I think that plays a major part in your recovery; everyone is different.  (What worked for me, may not work for you.)  The other factors that one should consider:

  • Do you have a knowledgeable and great doctor who is willing to listen to you?
  • Are you following the instructions given to you thoroughly?
  • Do you know that your body needs and can tolerate? (Perhaps you need to go on a wheat-free, corn-free, or gluten-free diet, or exercise a thought you may want to consider.)
  • Are you willing to seek alternative treatments?
  • Do you have a positive or “can do” attitude?

So, I have been trying to include alternative treatments in my blogs as well as what my doctor (LLMD-Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) used with me.

Most of you are familiar with the Cowden Protocol. I am familiar with what I used which include Samento, Quina, Noni, and Cumanda. I also used Avea for my mood to override the negative effects of Lariam which included rage and dark thoughts.   It was determined by my LLMD and the use of muscle testing that, in my case, a combination of these with other protocols and conventional medicine would work best for me.  (This is only part of what my treatment involved.)  (See Disclaimer.)

NONI broad spectrum antiviral and pain reliever; MICROBES: Adenovirus, Cytomegalovirus, Encephalitis viruses (some), Hepatitis viruses (some); Human Papilloma Viruses (some), Influenza, Meningitis viruses (some), Rhinovirus; CONDITIONS: Acute pharyngitis, Cancer (some), Colds, Enteritis, Food poisoning, Flu, Gastritis; Pain syndromes, Sinusitis (some)

CUMANDA broad spectrum antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic & antiviral; MICROBES: Anaerobic and Aerobic rods and cocci (many), Aspergillus sp., Babesia, Bartonella; Borrelia, Candida, Chlamydia, Cytomegalovirus, Encephalitis virus, Hepatitis virus, Mycoplasma; Mycosis fungoides, Mucor sp., Protozoal parasites (many), Rickettsia (including Coxiella and Erlichia); Worms (some; CONDITIONS: Acute and Chronic prostatitis, Acute and Chronic respiratory tract infections (many); Acute and Chronic sinusitis, Asthma, Atherosclerotic disease, Autism spectrum disorder, Cellulitis; Food poisoning, Lyme disease, Parkinson’s disease, Psoriasis, Thrush, Urinary tract infections (many); Vaginal infections (many)

In my experience and the search to learn more, I have found that there is a very large number of patients that recovered by using herbal extracts to eliminate the microbes in patients suffering from Lyme Disease. And, that some of the conventional antibiotics, for instance, Mepron, are becoming less effective in battling Babesia. Thus, using herbal extracts would seem a must.

I have been feeling terrific.  I have even become a morning person again.  I begin my day at 4:30 a.m. and end it about 10 p.m with no need for napping in between–yes there are times I do sleep in.  I truly hope that all those that continue to suffer find the recovery that’s so richly deserved.   (There are also some added suggestions by Dr. Cowden at the end.)

Added Thoughts:

There was a study done on the effects of Samento/Banderol on Borrelia Burgdorferi the bacteria that causes Lyme Disease. The effects were very promising.

“Borrelia burgdorferi, the primary causative agent of Lyme disease, is a spirochetal bacterium that can adopt different inactive forms, such as cystic and granular forms (round bodies), as well as colony like aggregates both in vivo and in vitro, in the presence of unfavorable conditions such as exposure to the antibiotics commonly used for treating Lyme borreliosis.1-4 Unfortunately, when B. burgdorferi is in these inactive forms, conventional antibiotic therapy will not destroy the bacteria.3”

“In the absence of antimicrobial agents, B. burgdorferi is forming biofilm like colonies with mainly live bacterial cells.”

“In the presence of Samento extract (1:300), the colonies were significantly smaller and less organized…

In the presence of Banderol extracts, the size of colonies did not show any reduction; however, the cells inside the colonies are >90% dead.”

I also know that I have been fortunate to receive the necessary treatment. I know there are many out there that don’t have insurance or their insurance will not cover their treatments. That is, unfortunately, a hurdle most of us have a hard time clearing. The only suggestion there is to try some of the things that I have done in the past: Use the most basic cable service they have. Stop going out to eat. Make up a list before you go shopping to avoid excessive purchases. Use dial-up instead of DSL (this was one of the most infuriating for me because it was just sooooo slow). Collect aluminum and recyclables and turn in for money. Buy generic. I’m sure most of you are already doing these types of things; these are just a few things that we did to get by.  (Lyme-Aware’s Disclaimer)

A few important things you should consider and take into account as suggested by Dr. Cowden:

1) Most people that kill microbes with herbals or antibiotics get Herxheimer reactions that impede their progress. Nutramedix Burbur or Nutramedix Parsley Detox taken 8 drops in 1/2 cup of water every 10-15 minutes for 1-2 hours will usually resolve the Herx. Pinella 8 drops can be added to each Burbur or Parsley water if central nervous system Herx is also present (brain fog, confusion, headache, etc.).

2) Microbes in the body stimulate fibroblasts to produce fibrin that covers over the microbes thus hiding them from the immune system. Serrapeptase 1-3 capsules, taken with water only, 30 minutes before a meal (and at least 4 hours after the last food) once or twice daily can strip the fibrin off the microbes (& even digest the biofilm) so that the immune system can help to eliminate the microbes.

3) If Nutamedix Noni seems ineffective against the viruses, Nutramedix Takuna is a more powerful antiviral (30 drops twice daily for chronic viruses or 30 drops every hour for acute viruses such as flu). I would not use Nutramedix Noni as the sole treatment for a potentially life-threatening acute meningitis or encephalitis nor would it be wise to use any Nutramedix product as the sole treatment for cancer or comparably severe, life-threatening disease.

4) Nutramedix Enula is a very effective anti-babesial & antiparasitic (build up to 30 drops twice daily &take 12.5 days on & 36 hours off each 2 weeks for 4-6 cycles & always leave off the same 36 hour period as other “Microbial Defense” products).

5) About 30% of chronic Lyme patients have sulfa drug toxicity & as a result, cannot efficiently take up into their cells the sulfur-containing detoxing substances (cysteine, taurine, methionine, glutathione, lipoic acid, DMSA, DMPS, MSM, etc.). Nutramedix Sparga has quantum-physical imprints that cause the tissues to release the sulfa drugs & then detoxification occurs as it should.
