Sharon is an author, wife, mother, teacher, daughter, entrepreneur, friend, supporter, warrior, and founder of the 501(3) c non-profit. She also established and created an online network for her local community in 2000. The network has expanded into other communities and Washington, DC metro area and now is known as myNeighborsNetwork.com. The non-profit, Neighbors Foundation, was founded in 2004. Its primary project is sending care packages to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. For Fourth of July, the Neighbors Foundation runs the fireworks event in Great Falls, VA.
